Interview mit der 80er Thrash-Ikone und Vollzeitwahnsinnigen Great Kat zu organisieren.
Leider wurde das Ganze mehr zur Dauerwerbesendung als zum netten Pläuschchen, aber für
einige extrem durchgeknallte Statements ist die selbsternannte "Reinkarnation von
Beethoven" immer zu haben. Augrund der nahezu unübersetzbar lebendigen Sprache von
Kat wurde das Ganze im englischen Original belassen...
01. first of all i wanna thank you for giving this interview for scarred for life. as i
discovered the GREAT KAT...it was in the 80s, reading a review in METAL HAMMER of your
first album. for me you looked like a beethoven fanatic and even your 2nd album
"beethoven on speed" underlined this. now, after years you released albums like
"wagners war", "bloody vivaldi" and "rossinis rape"? why
that? is beethoven still the greatest musician of all times for you and can we expect
albums with compositions of grieg, mozart and schubert?
The Great Kat, named “TOP 10 FASTEST SHREDDERS OF ALL TIME” (Guitar One
Magazine) is the NEW BEETHOVEN of the 21st Century and is on a MISSION to bring the
GENIUS, COMPLEXITY and BRILLIANCE of CLASSICAL Music to the MASSES through
SHRED/CLASSICAL!!!!!!!! The Great Kat is taking masterpieces from WAGNER, BEETHOVEN, BACH,

08. filesharing is very popular. whatever the music industries is doing or planning...it
seems that loading music and filmes can´t be stopped. a lot of bands support the industry
but some artists have no problem with this. what is your point of view? is it a chance to
get more fans? are records too expensive or is filesharing just criminal and the users
should be killed (irony!!!)?
