She touts herself as speed metal's fastest female guitarist and the self-proclaimed "guitar goddess”, a.k.a. "Satan's daughter." She's Kat, which is also the name of her band and together they combine speed metal and classical music to create what they've -dare we say- christened "hyperspeed metal" music.
Kat's debut LP was originally entitled Satan Goes To Church, but even a Juilliard graduate and acclaimed concert violinist turned sadomasochistic, blood-dripping guitar demon (who happens to be the great-granddaughter of a Lynchburg, Virginia evangelist) can change her mind: the album's been renamed Worship Me Or Die!
