Katherine Thomas performs with the Symphony's Gala Concert.
Distinguished violinist Katherine Thomas, will perform as a soloist during the Gala Concert offered by La Orquesta Sinfonica de Coahuila, celebrating in the capital the National Congress Convention.
This concert was agreed upon by the Governor of the State, Professor Oscar Flores Tapia and his wife, Mrs. Isabel Amalia Davila de Flores Tapia, president of DIF and FONAPAS - Coahuila. This concert will be held in the Theater of the city "Fernando Soler", conducted by Ricardo Gomez Chavarria.
Like it is known, Miss Thomas is a violin virtuoso, who began her studios at the age of 9, having many performances recently, as violinist with the Symphony Orchestra of New York.
She won the "Hufstader" award and also received a violin from 1850 from the "Friends of Mozart Society".
Among the reviews from North American press, is an outstanding review from the "New York Times", which states "A brilliant performance. Very talented. Excellent tone and intonation."
