The Internet: it’s like a giant flea market. When you go, you’re going to check
out a lot of random stuff. You might even purchase something if it seems like a
reasonable deal. One thing’s for certain, you’re not going to be able to
experience everything that’s available during your visit. So you keep returning
in the hope of finding that elusive trinket.
You know, something like this…
That’s The Great Kat. A Juilliard alum turned thrash metal guitarist with a
flair for covering classical music. A sampling of some of her album titles
should give you an idea of what we’re working with: Digital Beethoven on
Cyberspeed, Bloody Vivaldi, Worship Me or Die!
The Great Kat intrigues me for a number of reasons. She refers to herself in the third
person, and she doesn’t seem to give a sh*t what people think about her.
Sadly, there isn’t a lot of new video of Kat online other than these short
snippets on her YouTube Channel. Maybe the world isn’t ready for her, yet.
That’s up to you, the valued customers of this flea market we call “The
Internet.” Good luck finding undiscovered treasures. Until next time, here’s one
more from The Great Kat, aka the Metal Messiah…
