Simply Astounding
After Reviewing Beethoven's Guitar Shred I must say that this is one of
the most impressive ways to bring the old back into today's music world.
The Great Kat lets her fingers fly on the guitar as Beethoven would let
his fingers fly on the piano.
On this DVD the Great Kat plays "Bach's Brandenburg Concerto #3". I
happen to be a fan of the classic music and was quiet surprised when I
heard this piece. At first it sounded like what I was use to then it
changed into something newer, something more up to date and it had a
nice sound to it. I must give this artist credit. It is not easy to try
to take a piece and make it have that personal touch, but she did it and
did a great job while doing it.
After watching all the Shred videos and Shred bonus features I must say
that Kat has a lot of heart put into this. She puts so much energy into
every shred video I saw, even in her cartoon “The Flight Of The
Bumble-Bee”, she is very energetic. How she does it, I don’t know. Not
to mention how can she keep up with the music while making it have a
nice sound! As I have already stated, this is a very unique way of
bringing back Beethoven. So good job, Kat! I can’t wait to show some of
my friends this and I would defiantly recommend this to any metal fan.
This DVD comes fully loaded and if you wish to a see a truly talented
artist, this is a Must have DVD. Especially to those who have an
interest in Beethoven's music.
