Recommended Band of the Day: THE GREAT KAT   The Great Kat is an English virtuoso violinist and metal guitarist who breaks down all classical artists like Beethoven, Paganini, Vivaldi, Mozart, Bach. She plays her pieces at the speed of light because one day she had a vision that classical music was dead and the only way to resurrect it was to play it in the heavy metal style at the speed of light. She is quite a character, genius and figure, but her ample classical training allows her to reach extreme speeds that few are able to reach. The Great Kat has been awarded "Top 10 Fastest Shredders Of All Time” (Guitar One Magazine), “50 Fastest Guitarists Of All Time” Guitar World Magazine, is in the Top 10 of “The 100 Wildest Guitar Heroes” Classic Rock Magazine and the Top “12 Greatest Female Electric Guitarists” in Elle Magazine. The Great Kat graduated with the title of virtuoso violinist and performer at Juilliard. She also won the title of solo violinist in the Artist International Competition Violin/Carnegie Recital Hall Debut.
