Katherine Thomas Bio:
Katherine Thomas, a full-scholarship and honors graduate at The Juilliard School and Concertmaster of the Juilliard School Pre-College Orchestra, is the winner of the Artists International Competition and many other competitions and awards on violin. Katherine Thomas has performed as a violin soloist at Carnegie Recital Hall and for NYC Mayor Ed Koch at Gracie Mansion as a prodigy violin soloist. New York Governor Mario Cuomo awarded Katherine the Certificate of Merit as “Recipient of the Palma Julia de Burgos Award in recognition of her outstanding musical achievements.” Katherine Thomas also performed as a prodigy soloist for Governor Oscar Flores Tapia in Coahuila, Mexico. She has toured as a guest violin soloist with the Orquesta Sinfonica de Coahuila in Mexico and in recitals under the auspices of Bellas Artes, as well as throughout North America and England. Katherine Thomas accomplished a full Solo Classical music career before discovering heavy metal and transforming into the “TOP 10 FASTEST SHREDDERS OF ALL TIME” The Great Kat Guitar Shredder - the Reincarnation of Beethoven and the Only Guitar/Violin Double Virtuoso since Paganini!
